Looks great! In the 4th pic.tht looks like reigalsville crossing. A while back there was talk of using that building on the east side as a shop. Any progress on that?

No progress on a future shop location just yet; I understand the RR is considering another spot as well as this one, but I am not privy to that location. That's 'front office' stuff, and I'm still in the mailroom.....

Your not in the mail room ! Your at the Customer service counter. This site will most likely not be used for a shop, a little to small and to much work needed. I do believe you will see more information on a new shop this calendar year. We still post weekly updates, but were leaning towards face book, it's just easier. Information can be found on two sites.

Go to facebook and search "New York Susquehanna& Western THS SHOP" as well as "Old N New Bel Del"

Be safe happy new year to all.

PS Work train will be out on Saturdays including this one. Anyone interested in getting involved e-mail me. [email protected]

Customer service update.....the train actually made it down to Riegelsville proper this past weekend. The crew felt like real rockstars, I have never seen so many cellphones hanging out of car windows before; even the Bridge tender came out of her 'office' to shoot a photo or three. Another great weather day and another super-productive day on the railroad.........

And the obligatory group photo, suitable for framing, or maybe an album cover.......

This Saturday, 4/15, will be the last day to catch both SW1500's, 1567 and 1596 in a pull-pull on the Passenger consist. There are still a few tickets available for you to come out and help support the Railroad!

Haven't heard of anything yet! The last loads of stone were a couple of months ago.

Thursday they shipped out 4 loads of stone on the Bel Del. The crew did a heck of a job turning 3 cars around in one day!

Okay, Milford, you wanted the train back this year, so we're going to make it happen again. The fundraising effort is in full swing, and we have received many generous donations, but additional support is needed. Please consider a contribution to the Milford Mile (http://877trainride.com/milfordmile.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) to help rehab the line, so the good people of Milford and the surrounding area can experience their beloved trains more than just once a year.

With a great group of volunteers, and some newly acquired track equipment, we are working hard to get new wood installed in the next 2 weeks. Ties are being delivered this week, with installation north from Milford over the next 2 weeks. How serious are we about rebuilding this stretch of railroad? Here's a few photos of some good people giving up several days a month and making absolutely no money at all to make this project work....

Thanks again to those who have supported us in the past and continue to help...we look forward to seeing everyone at the Milford Alive! event on September 23rd, 2017.
(And get in line early...all of last year's free tickets for the caboose hops were gobbled up quickly, with many good folks turned away; this year should be no different!)
