Saw 5303 and 5304 going west across Howard blvd in Mt Arlington at 1:40 pm with about 15-20 cars. At 3:30 they are now by Borealis with the 2 engines and 6 cars on one side of the crossing and the rest of the train on the other. Looks like they are working out of a trailer that is parked by the crossing.

RP-1 is supposedly taking 36 westbounds to P'burg today (4-4) and getting 11 off the NS.

D&D was running late yesterday, Saw one engine and two cars go West through Hackettstown at 10:15 PM last night.

Im mostly interested in the DD operation west of Borealis, and which NS job is dropping off/picking up cars in pburg. Any info appreciated.

Due to PSR and Clean Sheet, the NS has brought cars to P'burg 6 days a week, usually with H65. However the DD crew only comes west to Pburg on Su-Tu-Th, waiting for whatever local has the interchange.

any idea what H65 is working these days. Anything regular? or just a catch job that goes where needed. I doubt they would be on duty 6 days a week just to take 5 cars a day to Pburg.

Im pretty sure they (H65) now work the Lehigh Line as well to the few remaining customers in Bloomsbury and then the interchange in Flemington with BR&W.

H74 on Monday, and H76 on Wed and Fri still handle the BR&W interchange and Aeropress work

H65 seems to be doing the LVRB interchange, the DD interchange and the Bloomsburg work.

Anyone know how much traffic LVRB is handling these days? Is it mostly car storage, or do they handle much carload freight for transload? They also advertise intermodal services. Do they do a lot of that? Not much information on what's happening on the LVRB. I always thought they dealt in big cuts of cars that were dropped off/picked up by road trains. IDK....
