Some 100+ year-old tracks along the Delaware bay by Sunset Beach (just west of Cape May) were recently unearthed by the tides.
fair use quote:
the tracks were owned by the Atlantic City Railroad Co. and leased to the Cape May Sand Co.

Hmm, I guess the press is a bit late (as usual); Ben got the scoop TWO YEARS ago here. Thanks for the report pumpers, and thanks Ben, your south Jersey reports are always appreciated, and 'on time'... :-)

In their defense, the Press did say the tracks originally appeared in 2014. What isn't said is how they got covered back up again for 2 years - by man or by nature?

The old rails have been seen again recently, due to the past couple of nor'easters........

They were visible all last summer at Higbee from the Magnesite plant heading north for about a quarter mile. They were in surprisingly good shape.
