A reminder... this coming weekend, April 23-25 is the annual tracklaying marathon at the WW&F up at Sheepscot Station in Maine. If you haven't been to any of these events you're missing being part of a terrific work session which usually advances the railroad by many hundreds of feet. IF YOU GO, bring your own shovels, work boots and gloves, along with lots of enthusiasm. The work is well organized and goofing around is discouraged... although fun is usually had, as is satisfaction at the end of each day.

This is rapidly becoming the two-foot gauge event of the year. Be part of it!

I was there Friday and Sunday with my dad. We made a lot of progress putting stone down, working from Alna Center South to where the in survice track ended. When i got there We found out that we where going to fall short about 60ft.

Yea that was a real bummer but we did get alot done. O and all four of the concret pilings the Alna Center station will sit on are in the ground at the site.
