I found a great vacation package to the Azores out of Boston. Living in the Philadelphia area, we rode to and from Boston on Amtrak regional trains. I enjoyed passing many of the interlockings I worked during my career, including F, Harold, SS4 Market, SS14 Pelham Bay, SS22 Shell all the way to SS71 Devon. Passing by SS38 Stamford and SS44 Berk in South Norwalk gave me the biggest thrills. We all are so lucky that SS44 Berk has been meticulously restored right where it sat. Great for train watching, operating the levers, and a lot more. I hope to visit the SoNo Switch Tower Museum again this summer.
