The Spur is clear of cars.

The 1701 has moved to a new location by the Medfield Waste Water Treatment Plant/Animal Shelter.

This is where she sat for a while and was heavily vandalized. There are some thick plastic covers which line the area in-case she leaks.

Hopefully she's there for a little maintenance before she quickly returns back to her nest. Noticed that her nose on the long end has already been tagged.

I don't know for sure, but I think some NIMBY action was behind this location move.

Interesting.... She was tucked in between an old Factory building and an Auto repair shop.

Not much for the NIMBY's to complain about, but then again, it doesn't take butt one (1) in this liberal country to force change on everyone !

Looks like the 1701 is done for the season,

September 2, 2015 1701 still boarded up at animal shelter, however 6 cars at island road.

How did the cars get there if 1701's OOS?

Maybe the engine is not out of service. Plywood will at least stop busted up glass.

One other possibility would be piloting or borrowing the CSX local for the short shove.
(Though I doubt that)
