Once upon a time, the two large brick buildings at Thompson's Point in Portland were owned by the Portland and Ogdensburg RR, later taken over by the Maine Central. They've been largely industrial space for the past 50+ years, but recently Hub Furniture has been holding a Warehouse Sale in the larger building known as "Brick South" (it's the one that usually has the large painted signage on top, closer to the end of the point). I stopped by and took a few photos, especially since this building is due to be mostly demolished as part of the Forefront project.
