Caught this piece of MOW equipment parked at New Milford Depot over the weekend. Just recently arrived.

That is a tie handler (TH-40) - can be used for moving/positioning sections of rail if you are reeeeallllly careful.

It was not there today, and driving around, saw no work. Oh, Man.
Many folk I talk to would love at least a rail shuttle to/from Danbury.
But not on tracks in current state. Rt.7 will continue to get more congested in the meantime.

Just heard horns, likely Northbound through New Milford at 11pm. Night running on the Housy???
Sounded nice, but also as if trying to keep noise to a minimum.
