A few more North Adams questions...

If everyone will think back to the previous forums, you'll remember I asked a few questions about North Adams, well hears a couple more. :D
Remember, since the old sites down, I don't have any answers if these seem a lil repetative.

Is it possible to get between the B+M (Gilford) and CSX still? I know that it used to be, but is it now? If so who opperates it? I know it had been B&M track, but who knows.

Also, After looking at NERAIL's great Photo Archive, I've started to wonder does CP Rail have running rights over to East Deerfield or something? It seems like half the trains under 'North Adams' on the list are CP or have CP power.

There was a connection not too long ago between Pittsfield and North Adams, however it was ripped up and turned into a trail, or somthing along those lines. You can still clearly see the ROW from the main drag Route 8. I *think* it was mostly CR track. Right now, I don't think there is enough traffic, or will ever be, to retrack the line.
