I imagine that once belonged to the PRR that was since abandoned between Hammond/Whiting Station and Clarke Junction. The land next to the roundhouse overlapping the Grand Calumet River looks like there was a bridge there at one time.

Wow. Thanks for posting that. I've never seen another roundhouse that only had access from the back! I see those five lift bridges are still there and two are still in use. Did those belong to the steel company?
