Might be a good weekend to railfan the BNSF Chicago Sub through the downtown Downers Grove area right in front of the Metra depot. There's a neighborhood festival happening covering a two block stretch on both sides of the BNSF mainline. The entire BNSF Chicago Sub between Eola and Chicago is in a quiet zone but with the heavy foot traffic for this neighborhood festival, you can expect trains to be making a lot of noise through Downers Grove all weekend long.
