Greetings Chicagoland railfans….
I’ll be in Chicago on Sunday transferring from the Capitol Limited to the Texas Eagle, and during the layover time, I’d like to take a side trip if I have the time. I’ve already ridden the South Shore (and their schedule precludes such a trip anyway) and there is not enough time to ride the BNSF either. I want to try to get a good shot of the bi-level IC cars. Anyone know of a station in a safe neighborhood where it would be easy to get a few good shots?
