Being a Civil war Buff,
I am researching the Civil War Hospital Car.
I want to build a 1:29 scale of this car. but I need the dimensions of a Civil War era Coach Car that ran on northern railways.
Length, width and height.
Any information on this would be of grwat help to me.

There's a Tyco/Mantua Hospital car with pics on ebay currently.
Also there is some info and specs on them in Trains and Technology: The American Railroad in the Nineteenth Century By Anthony J. Bianculli
