Donald C. Wetzel, pilot of NYC’s M-497 Jet Train during it’s high-speed runs in July 1966, will be making two PowerPoint presentations about the construction and operation of the Jet Train. Don was pilot during all four runs in two days and set a U.S. speed record of 180+ MPH that still stands today. It’s an exceptional presentation, both for the photos and the first-hand experience. Both presentations will be the same; Fri., July 9 at 4:00 p.m. (5:00 p.m. Ohio time) and Sat., July 10 at 11:00 a.m. (Noon Ohio time). The National Heartland Agricultural and Industrial Power Museum, 325 South Broadway, Butler, Indiana. Admission $2 per person; under age 12 free.
