I took Amtrak WAS-NYP today, and on my way, I saw 2 things that confused me
At NS's yard in Baltimore (https://www.google.com/maps/@39.2977469 ... a=!3m1!1e3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;), there was a REALLY long cut of boxcars. Are these in revenue service or storage?
Also, in Newark, DE, in the yard that used to serve the auto plant, there were a lot of LPG cars, all DOT-112 or DOT-105. Same question as above, and if they are in revenue service, to whom?

My guess is both. There is still a lot of materials manufactured and used domestically that require dry shipping.

Again both. Propane is one of the major loads shipped to terminals on the Delmarva peninsula.
