There is a nice 4 arch stone RR bridge visible on the right of the southbound lanes of I-81 at MP 219.05 just south of the I-64 intersection in Staunton, VA.

Does anyone know what RR built it? When, and when was it abandoned?

Location: 38.0896N 79.0776W Crossing Folly Mills Creek. Look at Google street view to see it.

Check out Historical.mytopo.com - Virginia - Staunton Quad - Southeast to see the 1947 topographical map clearly showing the right of way but not showing any indication of the RR.

It looks like part of the ROW was used for the I-81 construction in the 1960s but this bridge survived. Other than viewing from I-81, it does not appear to be accessible from public property.
