Just went to this zoo for the 1st time and noticed a ROW that made it's way along the river between the zoo parking lot and the actual zoo. What was this? Where did it go to? Was this for pax service?
I went to historic aerials and saw that it linked to the NEC at one time but going West I can't make it out. It doesn't seem to connect to the CSX line where it crosses underneath. Thanks for any help.

PRR Brandywine Branch. Served the once-busy milling district along the Brandywine (it may be descended from a proposal for the "Farmers' and Millers' Railroad Company of Brandywine Hundred) and ran from the main line at LANDLITH interlocking as far as the Bancroft Mills. The PRR owned ROW to extend it as far as the DuPont Experimental Station, but never did so.
