Hi

We are looking for a little help.

Where can we search the history of the A&StL -- Atlantic & St. Lawrence RR (1848-1854)? They purchased 27 locomotives from Porter (25) and Hinckley (2).
All were broad gauge engines (1676mm).
The A&StL was merged into the GTR (Grand Turnk RR) which had normal gauge tracks only.
What happened to the 27 engines?
