Anyone know where Normpac in Maspeth is moving to? According to this article, they're selling their buildings and relocating somewhere in the neighborhood to a large facility: http://qns.com/story/2014/10/24/box-mak ... x-for-72m/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Unless they are going to build something new near the tracks, this will one one less customer on Maspeth. I'm really not sure where they'd move to and couldn't find any news on it.

The NYPD has drawn up plans that (at least from this rendering) would completely replace the buildings so they can consolidate their property warehouse operations: http://qns.com/story/2016/06/29/massive ... o-maspeth/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Some of the floorplans on the realtor site show the indoor siding and crossover track layout at the rear of the building.

Interesting Dogbert,

They had the 4 car spot in the building and you would have cut the cars 2/2 split for the fire door. In the 2000's he would even take cars on that diamond track that crossed the indoor spot with the outdoor loading platform.

In terms of paper loads this has been an area of success verse newsprint. Hopefully they will take cars or atleast transload boxcars to get to his new facility. Normapac(Star corrugated) was a pretty active costumer years back.
