Caught M&E FL-9's 488 and 489 along with the C425 4223 this morning heading west through Morris Plains with 6 tank cars and 1 box.....

Where's the 18?

18 is out of service with a minor mechanical problem. FL9s were used to ferry 4223 to Lake Jct., etc. because the FL9s have the required cab signals needed to run on NJT while 4223 does not. 4223 will do the freight work.

Well 18 is back on the road, I caught them out in the freezing cold heading back to NJT around noon on the D&R. I was also surprised to see the load, EIGHT emptys, thats the most ive seen in awile.
