You are correct to a certain point. The Engines which actually WORK for ME are 18, 19, 20, and for the whippany railway rides 21. I cannot ever remember 22 ever running under its own power. It like 4231 are sitting on the ridgedale run around. I cannot remember what problem 4231 had but I know it has not run in a while. 22 is still waiting for a prime mover even though the ME put its cover back on to make it look pretty. Leaving 18 19 and 20 as the primary work horses for the ME. As for the RRPX the only locomotive which I know of in Morristown is 563 which is used as the primary yard switcher in Morristown. (Actually last time visited the shops 563 was absent and could have been moved else where for switching duties.) 4223 and 4228 are a long way from home across the country on lease to some other company. And if you want to count RS-11 7215 which is sitting near eden lane in Hanover.

Yesterday (Wed 2/11) 563 was in the run-around at Ridgedale with the collection of shop problem children (22, the M420 they started working on and stopped, 7205). 18 was at the shop outside - got started up and used, with the Whippany Railway Museum caboose (ex-Soo) as a spacer, to pull the "Garden State" PV out of the shop track 2 and put it over on the lead for track 5. (The Garden State name has been semi-removed and the car is now stenciled for CESX so I guess it has finally been sold.) 19 was in the shop on Track 1.

Couldn't see into the shop real well - does anyone know if 489 has actually made it to Morristown or is it still roaming the northeast?

That is the detailed list I was looking for, thank you. It was to my understanding 4240 had a do not start tag
on it when they bought it,does anybody know if thats true?

4240 had been earmarked as a parts unit from day one, to my knowledge. Don't know about the tag.

Traded for WNYP considerations and I believe some cash. I obviously am not privy to specifics of the transaction.

Rockaway Borough held a Street Festival last Saturday between 4pm and 8pm. M&E had the ex Soo Caboose open for visitors to walk through.

Does RRPX own 4216,4231,4240. I seem to recall that as to the reason they renumbered 4231 back from #21 after Ben's passing.

Had a chance to go by Morristown today. 18 and 4216 were in front to the house with 19 inside. Out on the Track 4/5 lead were the two SW-1s which have been stored elsewhere for some time and the 563. Ohio River was alongside the house on Track 3 being worked on though I couldn't tell what. Also in the shop area is a camo painted boxcar - couldn't see any lettering. I had seen this car a couple of weeks ago. It was parked for several days on the High Bridge line main in Kenvil between the transload area and Route 46 - ownership and purpose known to anyone here?
