Stopped by Morristown 10/18 on the way to work. 19 was running shoving 7205 into the house on track 2 and left 7210 in front on same track. 21 was up on the interchange (don't think was running but couldn't see well) with some tanks behind it. 563 and the Army Plymouth were on 3.

I had to leave but later heard them come east over Jefferson Road returning several hours later. Couldn't see what they had with them. With the arrival of fall, I'll soon have a partial view up to the tracks.

The 20 is back in Morristown, and pretty filthy. Wonder if it's for the 90-day thing or maybe they need it for the seasonal rush @ Toys-R-Us. It does have cab signals, correct?

Yes it does. Now if the 18 is still in Morristown then that would give them 2 engines to operate over NJT seperately. I doubt the Toys rush would make them work two seperate jobs in one day, but you never know.

Hopefully by next year or 2009 when 2 new customers come online on the Chester, then maybe they will have the need to work more.

Indeed 20 was on the NJT line today heading west by Denville around 8:18am. It really was filthy, at first glance I couldn't even tell it was 20. However it was nice seeing it after a long time of being gone. Where was 20 before hand anyway?

I don't think anyone knows the answer regarding the F40s. We will just have to wait and see. My guess, and I emphasize the word "guess", is that they won't be back in Morristown. Sandy

They will be running as TSH600 (ex 265) & TSH601 (ex 291); currently getting their new paint and receiving some TLCs. Now owned by Tshiuetin Rail Transportation, operating between Sept-Iles-Qc and Schefferville-QC on the previously QNS&L passenger operated train to replace the current 2 non-DB equipped GP38's 701 & 702.

About another month or so for the completion of the work... They travelled from Morristown via CSX to Montreal-Qc, to Matane-Qc via CN and CFMG then ferried across to Sept-Iles onto Arnaud Railway/QNS&L where they were delivered to the railed facility used for painting and TLC jobs.

Next project will be to remove unnecessary Cab Signal and other excess components not required, as soon as time permits and proper electrical prints found...

20 was in whippany today (10/31).
Dropped off the museum's comets, and shuffled around some of the cabooses.

Missed it leave so I'm not sure if they took anything back to mo-town.

Morristown 203pm 11-01-07

18 on Trk 1
20 on Trk 2
563 on Trk 3 with 7210

Since 4216, 4231, 7215 are stored; 563 and 20 are at Morristown; that would leave 557 at Bayway solo. My assumption is that the 19 was swapped with the 20 so that there are 2 units there.

Anyone know whats at Tropicana? 19?

As noted above, 19 is at Bayway. Nothing from the M&E is at Tropicana.

By the way, 7205 is in the house getting a fresh coat of black paint. At least that was the situation a few days ago.
