Hello all,

I just have one quick question here today.

Does anyone know if the Kitchi Gammi Club got a truck changeout recently?

I have noticed what appears to be a new set of trucks under the car in photos I have seen around the web. The trucks do not look like the ones the car arrived in Morristown with.

Anyone know if the M&E did a truck changeout recently on that car?

Well, that's all for now folks!!

See ya all later.....

Yes ... within the past year, heavyweight Pullman KITCHI GAMMI CLUB was retrucked using a rebuilt set of outside swing hanger trucks salvaged from a New Haven dining car built by Pullman Standard in 1948. Most of the work was done by one of the car's co-owners, who happens to be CMO of the M&E Railway. The car also has a new stainless steel kitchen and new armchairs in the observation lounge.

KITCHI GAMMI CLUB's newly rebuilt trucks, salvaged from a scrapped New Haven diner, are clearly visible under the car in the first photo.
