Is the game in D.C. this year and not Philly ?

This year's game was at Lincoln Financial Field adjacent to Greenwich Yard in south Philadelphia.

All 4 PVs were included in the consist of Bennett & Vivian Levin's "Liberty Limited 2006" special train from Washington Union Station to Greenwich Yard (Philadelphia) and return on Saturday December 2nd.

AIR, is this not the special that ferried WIA veterans to and from the Army-Navy game ?

I believe the Levin's inaugurated this special last year, yes ?

CLASS idea by the Levins !!

BTW, Kitchi Gammi Club and Mount Vernon were observed northbound on the NEC at MetroPark on Sunday evening around 7 p.m.. Don't know the Amtrak train # but it had 2 AEM7's, 8 coaches and the 2 PV's bringing up the rear at 90mph !

KGC had her ditch lights on too - awesome track bed illumination at that speed !!

Yes.

Yes.

Agreed! That is why the various sponsors (such as Army War College Foundation, Amtrak, CSX Transportation, Conrail SAO, the various private car owners, caterers, etc.) of the Liberty Limited 2006 were all willing to donate goods & services to the make this train a success.

KITCHI GAMMI CLUB and MOUNT VERNON were on train 80, The Carolinian, from WAS to NYP on Sunday December 3rd. On a passenger car, those lights are known as track inspection lights rather than ditch lights.
