It has been reported that the Maine Eastern 764 has left East Deerfield, MA on Pan Am train EDPO (East Deerfield to Portland). So, it should be arriving at Rigby Yard in South Portland, ME at some point in the near future, and then it'll go from there to Brunswick to be handed over to the Maine Eastern.

John Bay of NERAIL reports #764 is at Rigby, photo posted on the photo archive. Not sure how the holiday will affect the weekly local switcher (PO-8) that would be expected to shuttle the 764 to ME.

There is no more PO-8. The job that usually goes to Brunswick is the PO-4. The jobs out of Rigby are offically known as "Switcher 4" and so on, although you will hear certain dispatchers still refer to them as PO. It is supposed to head that way once a week, but since the M&E isnt booming traffic, sometimes a move wont be made for about two weeks.
