The M&E Burro crane - which has been sitting quietly gathering rust at the end of the siding at South Jefferson Road has been being worked on by the mechanical department. Today it looked like the had it running - couldn't stop because of traffic but crane mounted lights were on apparently self powered.

The larger rail crane they acquired from Erie Mining is located there as well - the rail frame on the tracks in front of the Burro and the cab/guts on the ground alongside - perhaps they're going to use the Burro to lift it into place?

Don't know why the sudden burst of activity - they have a pretty capable truck mounted crane though perhaps it's in Maine and they need something else available down here.......

Will update if anything interesting happens.
