Governor Pataki has approved a $35 Billion transportation bond with aid coming to the LAL and WNYP. $2.9 Billion will be on the ballet this November. Improvments include rail improvements on the LAL and $2 Million in added upgrades for the WNYP (Southern Tier Rail Authority).

Also getting aid are the South Buffalo railroad and the G&WRR.
