The NOPB was recently acquired by the Port of New Orleans. New equipment, including locomotives, has been tendered. GE was recently awarded a contract to provide 4 GE Dash 8-C40s to the NOPB. Rumor has it that these locomotives were sold to GE by Larry Truck Electric (LTE). Looking for the unit numbers of these locomotives and where they will be delivered to GE.
