VIA rail is looking to have ITCS rebuild a few RDC's with an add on option to rebuild 8 cars into 4 married pair DMU's

If Conductors are in charge, why are they promoted to be Engineer???

Comment: The basic Budd carbody structure seems to have been very good indeed: how many other things as old as RDC do you know that are being proposed for re-use rather than replacement?
Question: Monkton. Are the shops in question ex-CN shops that were at one time (around 1990) under consideration for use by GE as a Canadian locomotive assembly plant?
