Rare Mileage in a self-propelled Interurban

...and a dining car, at that!

The Erie Lackawanna Dining Car Preservation Society is sponsoring a special rare mileage train ride covering the Bay Coast Railroad between Cape Charles, Virginia, and Pocomoke City, Maryland on Sunday, May 3, 2009. Funds raised by this excursion will benefit the continuing restoration of Erie Lackawanna Diner 741.

We'll be using Bay Coast 316, a former Texas Electric interurban converted to self-propelled operation by Edwards Railcar. See our announcement on the Events page:
