Not sure where the neutered SPVs are now, as they were leased to FEMA for Hurricane rescue service. They got replaced by the Virginian Transport coaches for the Shore line east.

Budd also made some uncompleted SPV-2000 shells for stock and speculation. They were still at the Red Lion Plant during the liquidation auction, but later some were moved to the private rail car plant (Metchon Industries, Delaware Car, etc.) on the West side of the NorthEast Corridor at Wilmington, Del. Trinity Express in Texas though of having some of them completed, but went for rebuilt R.D.C.s, locomotives, and coaches instead.

There is a bunch of them (About 8-10?) sitting in New Haven. Right next to the retired FL-9's at the MNRR yard. I was there a few weeks ago. They are totally intact. Cabs still have the radio's too. Last inspection dates were 2008.
