Did the D & O every haul any freight? I can't picture who they would have deliveryed frieght to on the first 2.6 miles of the Ulster & Delaware.

4917 (4934) is listed on the second site that it contains drained transformers, I do not know if this is true of not.

Another question, How long ago, or when were the GG-1's brought to Cooperstown Junction?

So the question I still have, is were is all this stuff ( garbage, demolition debris, or whatever) ending up? Whose back yard is this stuff ending up in?

I know it comes to Binghamton on the NYS&W.

I believe it comes out of New Jeresy, but have no idea where it is going.

I have often wondered that same questions, I am glad you asked we will now find out.

What are their long term plans for the GG-1's? I doubt they will ever see service again, but are they planning on restoring them? I did find a website that said that one had been purchased by the Henry Ford Museum, but it must not have been since it is still @ Cooperstown Jct. That must be why I tho...

I used to worked in Oneonta till 2 years ago, and I remember seeing them there all the time, even when they threw a blue tarp over one to keep it dry. I do rememeber sometime in the last 2 year driving through that way, and noticing they where no longer out next to the CP Tracks, did they move them ...

Last time I went through Cooperstown Junction, about a year ago, the GG1's where not there. I head that they got moved, and one may have been sold.
