@ reader#108 your missing my point 3025 was a complete engine when purchased it was dissassembled so it could be trucked up here. the wheels where sent to be turned the flues were cut out when it got here the only thing that was left behind was the cab. everything else was acounted for. and edaville...

As far as Edaville they did not completley rebuild the 21 and VRRs 3025 was a complete loco diassembled in Kane Pa all the parts where there and the boiler was built in 89 and is all welded. so to compare those engines to one needing a full restoration is inacurate it cost 530,000 for 3025 to be reb...

On another not I wonder if G&U is going to continue rebuilding the rest of the line. The RXR posted a ad on railroad supply website offering Relay ties for sale. Im suprised they are selling ties when they need ties?
