QC is still an issue at Athearn on some products, namely those that require electrical current of any kind to run. Other manufacturers do not have this level of problems. The shells are beautiful however.

Them N Scale C424's were delayed a number of Times on there 2ed release when CN and CP Rail steped in to see that they were done correctley on there 2ed release. The first run was intended to be released in Canadadian road names only before any thought was given to makeing them in American Road Nam...

The Dead Trees are also a rock group out of Portland Oregon under an Indie label. Does anyone know if NS has ripped up the track yet?

Just to clarify the mucky water once more. The FRR ROW is owned by GVT. Beyond the end of track east of Owens Road is owned by CSX. The Owens Road crossing is closed. CSX has no easement on any GVT owned ROW on the FRR. SUNY Brockport is not building a bike path on any GVT owned properties. GVT is n...

There you go. Thanks. Perhaps I misread it the first time but your statement made it seem as though you were suggesting that the FRR ROW was owned by CSX along the whole route which would be incorrect.

GVT owns the track, however Conrail (and its successors - in this case CSX) retains an easement along the ROW for utilities (i.e., power lines, pipeline, fiber optics, etc...). The last 1/4 mile of track is actually owned by Monroe County (from the center line of Owens Road to end of track). The RO...

These engines are on their way out of the country. They are shrink wrapped for shipping as they will be on an ocean going voyage to South America.
