Re: ACES Atlantic City Casino Rail Service

That would stink. Imagine if a set specifically designed to facilitate a viable (or not) transportation option to Atlantic City is now being used by it's competitor. Well, that would mean Septa, CDOT, or Metro North would want them. Nobody weighs the options between Atlantic City and Las Vegas. Eas...

Geez, 4405 is 10-20 minutes from my house.. you make it sound like I was planning on driving across the country to find the thing. I don't really want to speak on his behalf, but... I think the issue Cruiser had (and it raised my eyebrows) was that you were asking about the accessibility of 4405 al...

Correct me if I'm wrong, I got what I damn needed and that is that. No freakin reason that 4405 had to be dragged into it like that, yeah, I like 4405, big freakin whoop we all have our favorites. Are you really picking a fight with me over something I said last week? Real mature cruiser, like I sa...

Seeing those photos reminds me of the E60s all over again. Except, those looked a lot worse when they were put out to pasture.

Was 1547 an "open window" coach because its restoration wasn't complete? I know I saw a video of that coach trailing on an excursion trip, and it didn't have any marker lights. Instead, there was just a portable blinking light placed in the vestibule. Back to my original point though. Was ...

The MU Shed was where the M ultiple U nit coaches were serviced. Just prior to it's demolition the Volunteer Railroaders Association was invited by the URHS to salvage materials for the New Jersey Transportation Museum. Interesting Scot, but the 3014 was rebuilt in Dansville, and they lettered that as an SD40T-2. When the tunnel motors undergone repainting and rebuilding by AMP, I always thought that 3010 was incorrectly lettered. The paint job, and lettering is a little off on that unit IIRC (or it's the two chop ...

ok, I think I figured it out! ;) looking at more photos made it clear.. All the NYSW SD45's except for two (3618 and 3634) were called SD45's for all of their careers with the NYSW.. 3618 went to Dansville to be rebuilt in September 2006..she was rebuilt but *not* repainted at Dansville. because sh...

Thanks for the info.

The F40s seemed rare on the NJCL, and then they are everywhere. Steady rotation of everything. Even 4219 is back, with its awful horn.
NJT's F40s haven't been "screaming" since their Juniata rebuild.

I feel like this whole thing is going to end up a non story and people are just making wild speculations. I would think these are just going to end up as normal multilevel coaches. Really makes the most sense, and is the most practical; I think.

Supposedly 487 is getting scrapped. Too bad, since I believe that was the only remaining FL9 (except 484, 488, and 489) that still had a chance to run again since ME purchased them.
