There has been a PP set running on the West Trenton Line during the midday over the last week or so. Not sure if it's training or has replaced a MU run. Saw it from a distance last Thursday and heard horns on Friday.

Perhaps it was posted earlier in the thread, but what is the actual track mileage from Norristown to Pottstown (or from Bridgeport using the old Reading mileposts), and are there estimates for the actual proposed travel time? It already is at least 45 minutes Norristown to 30th St for a Septa expre...

Just heard what I assume is the Leaf Train coming north through Roslyn. Very sick horn, sounded like an old single trumpet RDC.

I remember, riding the train out from Reading Terminal in Philadelphia, that Reading had two passenger depots. Whatever happened to them? The two stations in Reading were Franklin Street, located at 7th and Frankiln Streets, and Outer Station which was inside of the wye at 6th and Buttonwood Street...

As I was clearing the leaves from my lawn this morning, I wondered the same thing. Last year they used the AEM-7's for the leaf / gel trains. I wonder if they will do the same this year?
