The museum's website says one of their 0-4-0 locomotives was built by the Davenport Locomotive Works and listed its past owners. Joe

I took a close look at a CB&T boxcar I built from a kit a couple years ago,was surprized to see it had sprung trucks.My memory isn't too good,are sprung trucks standard on CB&T kits or did I buy the trucks elsewhere ? Thanks Joe

We use bumping posts and wheel stops at work.Both can withstand a slight nudge when we couple onto a car.But when they are hit by cars going over perhaps 2 MPH bad things happen,like the rail joiners break or the middle of the car ends up on top of the bumping post. Has anyone ever seen one of these in operation or ran one ? I am curious how they compare to the 35 Ton GE we use at work in terms of hauling capacity. Our GE has been re-engined with a 275 HP Cat and has double reduction gearing. Thanks , Joe

I wonder how old cars in M.O.W.service are allowes to be ? Back when Conrail served my town I also saw cars built in the 1940's and scale test cars made in the 1920's.

It goes (went) from Anderson to Frankton,around 7 miles.I don't know if it is still in operation. Perhaps you could ask on the Indiana railroads Bull Session forum ,do you need a link to it ?
