This was a question where I could drive and then watch (perhaps with my family) a lot of high-speed trains running.
Thank you all for your suggestions! I will pull out a map and take a look at them.
I live in Albany, NY, and most of the "high speed" Amtrak trains we see around here around doing about 70mph. I would love to railfan some Amtrak trains on the NE Corridor at high speed, but am unfamiliar with the area. Ideally, I am looking for a location where I could drive and park easi...
I miss the UHRR's open air car. Riding in the S&NC's enclosed coaches just wasn't the same. There is no better way to experience the Adirondacks than by taking it all in while riding an open car.

I don't know how. If am willing to email it to someone else if they want to upload it for me. Just send me your email.
I finally took some things out of storage recently and included in the pile of stuff was a picture of me in my snowsuit standing on the frozen lake with the caboose in the background. I don't have a handy way to scan the actual picture, but if BR&P sends me a PM with his email I will take a phot...
That explains the MEC caboose on the back! Another neat idea. Thanks.
Thanks. That caboose looks more like what was in the postcards.
