43 loads headed north through Manchester around 2PM with one unit
Keolis Southside dispatchers at South Station
1071 headed to Middleboro today for CSX to take west - which makes the 1072 the last one standing.
Well there goes the last customer east of Everett Jct.
Gee...and they outsourced the body work to a third party in Pennsylvania. Someone go back and get a truckload of Flex-Shield...
The 1008 & 1013 are in bad shape. And the MBTA still wants $30,000 each, not dropping the price since they went back up for sale after the auction.
Yes...there was a photo on Facebook of it there yesterday I believe.
1053 is back home.
Do you know which one?
Mass Coastal has acquired another engine. This time its an ex-NS GP59. Will become MC 2014.
I maintain some extensive rosters for the MBTA fleet including rebuild info, etc. Send me your e-mail address. Got all the former CN numbers, some specs, etc.
1834, 1835, 853 & 854
I think "Preferred Freezer Services" at 60 Commercial St Everett was the last consistent customer for reefer traffic in Everett. They were located on the Island End River and before Ciment Quebec and the lead to the scrap yard.
Apparently none of it is for Tresca and headed out of New England. Thought someone told me Ohio, but I can't remember for sure.
