The "set" was probably made up at Rochester. The 1138 is an overhaul down there and those are new Rotem coaches probably fresh out of acceptance testing.
Set came out of Rochester Friday. 1138/1848-1851-865-870 & 224. Returns to Rochester Monday via Mass Coastal
It's the other way around. BCLR switches Mid-City for MC, since MDOT/MC own/operate between MP6 and end of track. BCLR's lone customer is
DBS (Dartmouth Building Supply) at Old Reed Rd in N. Dartmouth. BCLR operates MP6 to New Bedford under their own flag.
Again, the private contractors doing the work, not MC.
Paint issue has nothing to do with the Mass Coastal. That lies with the contractor doing the work in Rochester. MC only delivers/picks up plus does acceptance testing on behalf of the MBTA/MDot at Rochester.

That car inside the shed at Gallo has been there for years. Left behind for some reason. Has Housatonic reporting marks.
Nothing specific, but I think we could see C&D or scrap here. Wonder if there might be a return of road salt?
The strike at Erie was settled about two weeks ago, so everything is backed there. Just wonder where the MBTA contract stands with the bigger ticket items like that Egyptian 100 unit order.
I was down at Buzzards Bay with friends to see it pass. Heard the whole thing on the scanner. Sad. The Flyer had about 210 / 27 bikes out of Hyannis and has picked up another 47 at Bourne Station before the incident. Relief crew was called, train was not released until 1010PM, which was about a 3 ho...
This is Myricks. Also had a branch from Middleboro that came in on the left behind the photographer and north of the RT79 Crossing.
I remember that move. Was working the Northside Terminal Desk!

BCLR checks on the engine periodically.
This stretch from the bridge almost all the way to the station is a popular fishing spot. I even heard that Wareham once wanted to have a pedestrian crossing
put in. I am amazed this doesn't happen more often here. Of course, if you're a railfan with a camera your public enemy No.1.
