Revolution Rail is running railbikes out of North Creek. I saw them in operation when I was there July 6th. Looking at the website, there are no Big Moose trains on the schedule for this summer, but they resume in the fall. Well, things moved a lot quicker than was suggested at the 2013 hearings, as Sand Hill Road crossing is now closed, instead of the 2018 projection.

Since it was just a stub didn't serve any customer, I doubt they would need STB approval to shorten it. There is no tangible effect on any shipper.
