CSX is getting ready for springtime work , a pile of ties and rail was recently dropped off at Town Farm Rd. crossing in Westford. I assume this is for this crossing, but they have stockpiled material here before and then taken it to another location.

At 20:55 D2 told M426 "you are OK down to LJ" (Lowell Junction) so looks like they are moving right along.

At about 20:15 today Littleton Detector gave M426 CSXT 473 2 high load hits, 534 total axles. Crew reported the hits and " clear of MP WOR-1 " to D2. D2 told them to check at Westford and gave them the reporting marks of the cars to check.

I think one thing that added to the problem was that M426/427 seems to run 6 days a week ,usually not running one day ,I think Sunday or Monday. Obviously trains running on the track during a snowstorm keep the track envelope clear. I don't think any trains ran during the storm and for more than a d...
