I'm sure that will be real successful.
Also as i said in my last post, if you do want this plan to succeed, DONATE (of course the main thing is if Strasburg agrees to sell it.)
I came across this interesting topic while going through the pages of GoFundMe of steam locomotive things https://www.gofundme.com/fire-up-rdgsrc-41187" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Do i think it will succeed? Maybe. If Strasburg is willing to sell it and they get enough m...
Does anyone know when Strasburg 475 is going under its lengthy "checkup"?
I am looking for railroad camps and volunteer jobs up to around 30 minutes away from Morrissville PA. this would be for age 14 and also would be in the summer.
The Save the #503 GoFundMe has now reached its goal! yahooo!! (i might live in PA but the train community is well connected!)
Thanks glenn, this is helpful
Also while i was browsing the web i found this loco: http://www.sterlingrail.com/classifieds ... p?id=13578" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; its not the same loco but it has a VERY similar paint scheme
Chat about Strasburg railroad's current operations including freight, passenger, and restorations.
Ivrr yes i have tried googling it i find its location and images of them currently.
I need some plans for a steam locomotive works in mid to late steam era. this would be in HO scale and also would have a 2 or 4 line mainline running through it. it would be about 2x4 feet.
I am looking for history and information on the locomotives outside the greater Philadelphia expo center. they seem to be: A 0-4-0 tank engine, 2 small diesel switchers and a speeder. some pictures of them when they were operational would be nice as well.
A few things, 1 is that it is so interesting how a locomotive can seem to just vanish into thin air and 2 in terms of phone numbers, you want who owned the plant at the time of the locomotives sale, not the current owner.
