Hi I am trying to represent a small version of KSI Industries on my HI layout. I remember hearing the spur going into KSI Industries before the Bridge Apartments were built was very long and steep with tight curves, but can anyone remember if the track or tracks went inside the actual building to an...

i walked that area about 1 year or 2 ago and if you look carefully, there are still some telephone poles along that bike path. There is a sign on the shorefront marking where the old submarine track is still underwater. I remember reading somewhere that they layed that track on the ice in the winter...

I am putting together a new HO Layout and I am wondering which type of roadbed is better overall, Cork or the Woodland Scenics stuff? May sub RoadBed is going to be extruded foam board.

Any other suggestions? Thanks.....

sorry....forgot to mention...I already have all code100 and I really do not want to stick code 83 in just for bridges because to me, the 83 will stick out like a sore thumb in comparison with the code 100. At least the micro engineering track that came with the bridge will.

There were schematics available on eBay some years ago. There were 3 schematics, a GP38-2 D&H Lightning stripe, SD40-2 Dual Flags CP Scheme and a 2-Window SD60M in D&H Lightning Stripe numbered in 7900 series. I don't know the whole story, but apparently it was in fact in the plans. I belie...

There is also the junction which is the beginning of what's left of the former Albany Main. I think this part of the Albany Main is still intact and active as a branch line now. I haven't been there is a few years though.
