I believe most if not all the equipment is URHS owned. I know the Hickory Creek is URHS.

I saw several covered hoppers on the SI just east of the NEC bridge. I assume the tracks are being used for storage of Bayway cars. Is this new or have I been oblivious to surroundings lately?

I recall seeing a photo of the leading truck of a PRR GG-1 resting on top of a box car door jammed between the guage on the NEC. Had the engineer had not been able to stop, it would have been a serious wreck.

Lionel was originally headquartered, along with manufacturing, in Hillside at one time. I believe that has all changed.

As Gravely Fan noted, the JCRHS Santa Train ran to High Bridge on Saturday, 12/11. There were two trips, which would have made High Bridge about 10 AM and 2 PM.

In response to Bigdell (with thanks to wolfboy) the JCRHS Santa Train is running on Saturday, Dec 11. Departs Raritan at 8:30 AM and Westfield at 9 AM and 1 PM.

That is Baird's Farm on the NYS&W as noted above. It is a favorite location for photo runbys on excursions. I don't recall the trip this shot is from but it must be an excursion of somekind. Most likely NRHS or URHS.
