So is there a second SD coming? One unit seem kind of odd.
An 80 ton GE from one of the New York area commuter lines.

Has A&A's new GE arrived yet?
I understand the Geneva to Solvay train no longer operates on Sundays. Does this leave anything running on Sundays?
Thanks,
RS
So how often does the LA&L switch Avon on Sundays?
Just paint it in the standard scheme and I'll be happy. I'm curious when they will do with the 14,

Well Charlie (and everyone else), wait a few weeks and you'll have it. Till then like I said, take my word for it or not, I do not speak for the railroad.

OK, let me try this again. With the greatest respect, this is not a rumor. However you do not have to believe it. I do not speak for the WNY&P and I am not at liberty to say how, where or when the Railroads Illustrated news item was confirmed. This is not an abandonment, or possibly not even an ...
As reported in current "Railroads Illustrated", expect the west end of the WNY&P, between Falconer and Sagertown, to be shut down shortly. Traffic will be diverted to the B&P in Buffalo for delivery to the WNY&P at Salamanca. For better or worse, this is true.

I'd be curious to know where you think they might find some B36-7's...

The DL purchased the 41 a couple of years ago. And they are currently on record as not needing any more power. Of course if the price was right... but don't bet on it. (See the recent purchased of said C-424.) They would be great for the WNY&P family but they have all the units they need apparen...
Wow. I guess we know now what the RS-18 is for.
I wonder if the sand can be routed via the WNY&P?
I also wonder if train operations will be moved to the new engine house, cutting down unneeded trips west of Bath?
RS
No, its a DLW engine (not sure why) but its headed for service on the DL at Scranton.
RS
DLWR 2403 (ex-Adirondack Scenic) is *supposed* to be on its way to Scranton. Has anyone seen it? Where is it?
