Did they forget to put in the porter buzzers? :D

On a more serious note, are all the MLV delivered, or are there still new deliveries pending?

WTC is not lightly used, but the big spiky extensions are definitely NOT needed. I will not be surprised at all if they get removed.

New this year: 9569, 9561 (GVF), 6378, 9251, 6576 will not operate on Christmas Eve. Budget cut? No. I don't know if it's mentioned on the new schedule or not, but they will be running earlier, leaving Center City in the 12:00-1:00 pm (or 1200-1300 if that's your style) hour. There are signs about ...

How many automobiles would get taken off the roads if extended to wawa..... to west chester? As much as i am an advocate for transit expansion, I do not see it being a big draw. Yes, it'd be great to have a transit alternative, but the numbers don't support it, i think. Instead of going off on a 50 ...

If NJT does run to 30th on the NEC, would it be an all electric affair, or diesel to avoid amtrak power use? Maybe diesel would be best to completely isolate their trains from any overhead power issues or requirements?

If we need changes, why do we keep electing people that don't get the fact that robust transit is what makes a region around a city healthy and economically sustainable? Not everybody uses transit to get to where they need or want to go. And robust transit alone doesn't mean a city becomes healthy ...

How about starting with service 24 hours a day before worrying about an available loo?
Not everyone arrives 3 minutes before the train does.

The RRD needs to be more walkable and more bus connected. It's like every bus or train is out there on its own unconnected from everything else, even if the intent is to connect them with train stations.

Clearly they should at least look at amtrak helping increase available seats by running extra trains or longer normally scheduled trains or both. Keystone sets might be short turned at 30th or suburban or something like that. Involving the new hope and ivyland would be a fantastic idea, as both side...

That's it. Previously, 4249 terminated at Marcus Hook, leaving a gap for Claymont-and-beyond from 4.25 to 5.09, and there were a lot of Claymonts packing (5>9)251, the next available train after 9245 at 4.25. The solution was to extend 4249 as far as Claymont to relieve crowding on 5251 (as I belie...

Clearly they should start considering building out on the river like many other cities have if space is such a premium. Moving the convention center to queens would be a mistake. Sunnyside needs a huge renovation, and it needs a second layover yard for expanded services and fleets that are inevitabl...

So guess jersey ave is dead then, or is that going to get a proper 2 sided station? It's kind of a vital stop for people needing county office services....
