Looks like at least 5 boxcars on the runaround track today. Plenty of tanks at Healthy. Newhaven empty as usual. Does anyone know if the food business receiving the boxes relocated from somewhere nearby, or is it a new customer? Anacostia took down their detailed customer listing, so there's no way ...

Just confirming that no boxcars have been spotted at the freight house for 2+ months now. Deliveries of boxcars to the runaround track continue.

Looks like the lumber customer has been gone for a while -- not sure if they are transloading elsewhere.

But a new customer has appeared on that runaround track. They have been getting high-cube boxes and transloading directly into box trucks. I can't quite make out what's in the cars.

Very cool! Does anyone know where the coke loads originate? I know the refineries in the Chicagoland area send out a lot.

Passed by today. There's now an office structure in place, scale installed, and a company name on the gate. The same 6 SOXX hoppers are still sitting.

Yes indeed! Based on the tags, it looks like the same 6 cars from November are still sitting there.

The latest Google Earth satellite imagery (April 2021) shows a new switch just west of the (former) Suburban Propane switch. There are/were track panels staged on the ground just to the south. It's not every day you see a new switch cut into the LIRR. Is this even more Gershow? Something else? https...

In related news, the cement barge used for the Rockland-to-Southie shuttle is being towed through NYC at this moment. Perhaps it found a new job.
