Last I knew was the #26 was sitting in North Towanda, out of service. It is still for sale on the RBMN website. While it is in desperate need of an update (working on it!!), here is a link to my website on the TMSL. I spent a lot of time researching the old #26!!! Enjoy! http://mysite.verizon.net/vz...

Papa - please share any more first hand stories you have of the S&NY!! I am sure there are many, including myself, who would love to hear more. I know you stated you have only one recollection, but any details, even minute, would be of interest!

Thanks!

Many years ago Joe Zadrusky of T-MSL once mentioned to me that he would like to repaint his locomotive. He wanted some photos of a like LV unit. Had recently (circa E/1980s) photographed LVRR #112 in TN, so furnished Joe with some color photos of the unit. Last time I saw the unit (Fall, 2006), it ...

Little bump for the topic and also to advise that my TMSL page has moved (the old link is now dead due to Yahoo Geocities disapearing from the internet)

Great shots Scott. My brother and I were in Towanda/Sayre this past week and got some shots of the LRWY in Sayre/Athens but couldn't catch them behind the "Sylvania" plant in Towanda. Did get some of the TMSL in Towanda however! I will get some ready to post here and share with everyone. A...

Wow! These are all great photos! What a fantastic rebirth of this line. I can't wait to get up there and see these units in operation. My brother and I are hoping to find some time to make a trip up to Towanda. I definately will have some good material to update the TMSL website (long overdue). Plea...

I grew up along the LV/CR Lehigh Secondary in Towanda, PA, close enough to the tracks that the headlamps on the SD-40-2's on CGAL would light up my bedroom at night. My brother and I spent ...
