The ownership/history of the equipment is as follows: The locomotives are all currently owned by the Danbury Railway museum. Just received word that the Model Train Flea Market Show in Schoharie is ON for October 3rd from 10-4. Its at the Schoharie Valley Railroad Complex. Talked directly with the show promoter and he is confident they can adequately spread vendors out to make it work and he also said they would limit att...

The Busch Family train was built upon the unfinished ROW that was graded north of the original D&H Cooperstown station behind what is now the Farmer's Museum. I have not been there in person to see if anything is visible today but I would assume not. Pictures of this operation are pretty scarce....

And just like that, the Adirondack Scenic Railroad no longer exists. I guess the word "scenic" was scaring off to many potential riders. https://lite987.com/adirondack-railroad-sets-opening-day-for-railbikes-and-announces-name-change/?fbclid=IwAR2bTrwPhaK93vsGFh5XTeYD7A-0ko2EhNGVfNEOFzWQlL...

lvrr325 The date picked was not an accident and I thank you for continuing to keep all these shows organized here to as a quick reference.

Just a heads up and this is in no way official but the rescheduled "Rails Along the Mohawk" Amsterdam Show has been "penciled in" for October 4th. We have reserved the date with the venue but it is entirely dependent on restrictions on crowed size as to weather the show will be a...

We will likely post to our Facebook page first, and contact the vendors second. Communication with our webmaster isn't consistent but I control the Facebook account so that is the best place to get up to date information. Don't expect any new news for at least a week though because its still too ear...

I've gotten pressure from our partner group to cancel the "Rails Along the Mohawk" Amsterdam due to the virus panic, but as of today we are still on. We will see where things are in a couple weeks but I am confident that we will not have to pull the plug.

There is something fishy or underhanded going on here. ARPS is either being forced to go along with this deal or DEC is just lying about them being on board. You don't flip flop that quickly and easily without a damn good reason. This whole situation stinks of corruption on NY State's part.
